The pieces below represent the culmination of a slight case of conceptual dysphoria that I experienced this semester. They consist of drawing, one oil painting, and two "meditation hats", paper sculptures meant to be worn during meditation.

Current work in Progress


still working these out, the goal is to use image transposition of figures to create depth and a map-like tactility that requires the viewer to "enter" the piece.

End of Semester Assignments from Spring 2010


This one is about four feet by three feet and was my final for Drawing class Spring 2010, I had to finish this one while moving out of my apartment and into a spurt of couch surfing, most completed in the printmaking room.
